How to send statements with the e-Reports module

The e-Reports module for SFM automates the distribution of several types of statements and documents from SFM to multiple clients via e-mail or print. Many report types in SFM make use of the e-Reports module. You will know that the module is available for you to use for a particular report and you find the e-Reports button at the bottom of the print setup window.

Any time you initiate the e-Reports module for a selected report, the e-mail addresses from your client profiles are picked up automatically by the system, letting you to focus on compiling the statements that are to be sent. If clients do not have an e-mail addresses in your system, or you have not enabled for them to receive statement by e-mail, those clients' reports will be set to Print. We have an article describing how you can enable clients to receive statements via the e-Reports module.

The centre of the e-Reports screen lists the recipients of the statements you want to deliver. You can click on clients in this list if you wish to review the addresses and the content of the e-mail. A preview of the message for the recipients is found at the bottom of the page. Click here for an article about modifying mail templates in SFM.

To e-mail all statements to clients who are set to receive statements via e-mail (configured in the client maintenance page), click on Mail at the top of the page. The system will e-mail your clients individually with their statements attached to the e-mail.

You can likewise print all outstanding statements by clicking on Print in the top of the window. The print option is available for clients set to receive statements via print in their client maintenance profile.
