How to send outstanding statements by bulk to clients via the e-Reports module

We have enhanced the debtor functionality to assist you with the sending of statements only to those clients with an overdue amount, while you monitor the other balances until they become due. Amounts due are based on the credit dates set on the client account. The system still maintains the option to send all statements to all clients or on the filtered list.

To make use of this functionality of sending bulk statements to clients, you must have the e-Reports module installed on your SFM. If you wish to inquire about this module, please e-mail us at sales@shireburn.com.

With the use of the e-Reports module in SFM, you can e-mail (and print) your clients their respective outstanding statements.

Before using this functionality, you will want to ensure that you have the correct e-mail addresses of your clients entered in their client maintenance profile and that their profile is marked as available for statements and e-Reports. We have an article that helps guide you in the e-mail setup for clients.

To send outstanding statements by bulk to clients, first, go to Current Year > Sales > Client’s Reports > Statements > Outstanding Entries.

Next, in the print setup window, under Clients, select Overdue Only. Then, click on e-Reports to open the module.

In the e-Reports start-up menu, choose Statements. Choose to start a new job or add to your last job and then name the job. Click OK.

After clicking OK, your e-Reports module will open. The e-Reports module will open with all outstanding entries ready to be sent to their respective clients. We have another article that describes how to use the module.
