PROBLEM

The windows will freeze and a message box in the left top corner comes with a message 'Switch to'.

ENVIRONMENT

SOLUTION

As a solution, go through the following:
  1. Close SPOS from the Task Manager.
  2. Open Excel and go to:
    1. File >Options > Trust Centre >Trust Centre Settings
    2. File blocking settings and untick all those boxes in the Open column (as shown below)
  3. Open SPOS and try exporting again

CAUSE

File blocking settings on Excel will block the export. These need to be turned off. More info found here https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office/troubleshoot/settings/file-blocked-in-office
