The EMVS notification system in SBS

SBS with EMVS notification system

Summary

SPOS (3.0.28) and SIMS (3.0.21) have been updated with a new notification system that provides decommissioning alerts and warnings. Now, the systems produce clear warnings on the statuses of the EMVS-related products (packs) processed through your SPOS and SIMS.

The SPOS update includes visible alert texts in the new notification panel located in the bottom-left corner of the application window and an enhanced auditing system in the form of the Notifications page.

The SIMS update includes a new header menu titled Notifications—this will flash when the system receives notifications.

These improvements are designed to make you completely aware of the decommissioning status of the packs processed in your system. Both notification systems produce all the required information, including the EMVS Alert ID, that you must use as references when addressing any pack state issues with the appropriate authorities. It is your responsibility to act on the alerts or warnings that you receive.
