How to Reverse an Allocated Transaction in SFM
When a transaction is Allocated, a reversal cannot be done unless the entry is fully De-Allocated.
To reverse an allocated transaction in Client or Supplier Maintenance, follow these steps below:
- Go on the Client or Supplier List.
- Select the Client or Supplier.
- Click on the Transactions Details tab (on top).
- Highlight the Transaction which needs a reversal.
- Click on the Allocations tab (on top).
- Click on the De-Allocate button . (After the de-allocation, the system will redirect to the Transactions tab.)
- Re-select the now de-allocated transaction and press the Reverse Entry button .
The transaction should now be reversed.
