How to Push a Group Right from One Company to Another in SIMS

If you have multiple SIMS companies, the user can have different permission for each and every one of them. The admin can create a group permission folder for a group or a user. This same folder is visible in all companies, but the permissions in it can be set differently per company.

However, if the admin wants to have the same permissions across all the SIMS companies in  organization, there is a simple way to apply them to all companies in one go.

Make sure to push rights from the correct company! The following has to be done from the Scompany that has all the rights set, as we are pushing the rights from this company to another that either does not have any rights, or that has fewer rights. The process copies the rights from the pushing company and matches them in the receiving company. If pushing rights from a company with no rights set or with fewer rights set to a company that has more rights set, the receiving company will lose their original rights.

  1. Go to Admin>Group Rights.

  2. Choose the Group and press the Push to other companies option.

  3. The next window will show all the Companies listed. Select the companies that you want the permissions to be pushed to, and then press the Push button.

After the process is done, all group permissions will be the same across all selected companies.
