How to Activate Advanced Commission
Advanced Commission Overview
The Advanced Commission feature provides the ability to customize commission settings for all salespersons within the system.
Enabling Salesperson Commission
To activate this functionality, navigate to:
SIMS > Admin > Company Maintenance > Modules
An access code is required to enable the Salesman Commission module (Should you wish to activate this function, please send us an email to support@shireburn.com with your request)
Configuring Advanced Commission
Once the module is activated, proceed to:
Support > Sales Person > [Select Sales Person] > Advanced Commission
Within the Advanced Commission panel, the system allows you to configure customized commission settings for the selected salesperson.
Through the Advanced Commission , the system will allow you to setup a custom commission setting on that specific sales person.
- Sales Person: The salesperson to whom the commission settings apply.
- Name: The name of the selected salesperson.
- Type: Defines the criteria that trigger the commission. Available options include:
- By Stock Card
- By Category
- By Group
- By Analysis
- All
- Code: The specific item or reference associated with the selected Type.
- Comm %: The commission percentage assigned to the salesperson.
- Client: A designated client on whom the commission should apply.
- Supplier: A designated supplier associated with the commission rule.
- Location: The location at which the commission should be triggered.
- SP No: The selling price tier that activates the specific commission rule.
