How do I create a New Company in SIMS?
This guide will walk you through creating a new company within your existing SIMS software.
Before You Begin
Activation Key: You'll need an activation key for the new company. To obtain this, email your desired company name to accounts@shireburn.com. Make sure the company name in the email is in the exact desired format (CAPS, Full stops, Brackets, etc...).
Creating Your New Company
Access Company Maintenance: Navigate to the "Admin" menu and select "Company Maintenance". Press the "Insert" key on your keyboard or the + button on the side menu.
Enter Company Name: When prompted, enter the exact company name you submitted to Shireburn Software Ltd. (including formatting).
Validate Activation Key: Input the activation key you received via email and click "Check Mark." If there's an error, double-check the name format with your original submission. If the validation still fails, contact Shireburn on accounts@shireburn.com with a screenshot of the exact error.
Complete Company Details: Upon successful validation, you'll have access to additional fields for setting up your new company.
