Error: "Cannot find product list ALLITEMS" when refreshing product list
Problem
Whilst performing a cash sale, an error "Cannot find product list ALLITEMS" comes up as below.
Environment
- SPOS
- SIMS
Solution
- Log out of POS and log back in. It will come up with a pop up to refresh product list.
- Click on YES.
There are very rare instances that this pop up does not show up. in that case pos needs a reindex
Cause
This is generally caused when performing a cash sale on SPOS, for which products have been linked or amended with a scheme, specifically when in SIMS:
- a new scheme is created which is linked to the product list OR
- an amendment to a current product list linked to an ongoing scheme is done.
